只今、東環では既存の水処理施設内の活性炭吸着塔に加え、
新たな処理水浄化設備の設置を急いでおります。

活性炭による浄水能力は、汚濁した水でも瞬時に透明な清水にしてしまう程ですが、
唯一の欠点は活性炭自体に不純物を吸着する為、
吸着後の浄水能力が著しく低下してしまう事でした。

そこで今回、「シャイニーボール」という
セラミックの球体を充填（じゅうてん）したステンレス管に水を通すことで
有害物質を分離・吸着する設備を新設し、併設した活性炭塔と同時使用する事により、
